Ksar Ezzit.
Where ANISO is rooted.
Ksar Ezzit is the place where Lassad's inherited knowledge of the olive tree and ANISO's vision become a shared story. Since 1914 our family has lived with this land. The old stone mill and the historic press speak of patience, handwork and a time when quality began at every single tree.
Lassad preserved this knowledge – not just as craft, but as conviction. Since 2005 Ksar Ezzit has continued this heritage as an organic estate. On 440 hectares grow 75,000 olive trees, 100% organic – with living soils, protected biodiversity and deep respect for nature, animals and the seasons.
Here ANISO Kraft Olive is born: from origin, uncompromising quality and genuine love for the olive tree.

Jdidi Hassouna – a great son of his homeland
Jdidi Hassouna, Lassad's grandfather, was born on 6 April 1914 into a family whose life had been closely tied to agriculture for generations. He grew up in Hammamet at a time when the city was still a fertile centre of farming. Where hotels, restaurants and shops stand today, wide fields and gardens full of citrus trees, jasmine and fragrant blossoms once stretched.
His deep connection to the land and his belief in agriculture made him an ambassador of his homeland. He brought his region's produce to the capitals of the world and was valued for his experience, wisdom and craftsmanship.
He also left traces beyond Tunisia. During the reign of King Idris, Jdidi Hassouna contributed to Libya's agricultural development. From the nurseries of Hammamet he brought plants and young trees to Libya. His reputation as a farmer, entrepreneur and visionary spread far.
Thanks to his knowledge and merits he enjoyed high esteem and was close to President Habib Bourguiba. Jdidi Hassouna was the father of eleven children who carried on his name, his values and his love of agriculture. In the Bouficha region he built a continuously working olive oil mill. He treated the people who worked there with care and respect – like members of his own family.
Yet despite his successes, he carried a great dream in his heart until the end, one he could no longer fulfil in his lifetime. Jdidi Hassouna passed away in 1983, on 6 April – the very day of his birth.
His life's work and his love of the earth live on in the following generations – in his grandson Lassad, in Ksar Ezzit Organic Estate and in the spirit of ANISO Kraft Olive. His memory, his values and his life's work remain alive in his family and in the history of his homeland. May he rest in peace.

The beginning of a living
family heritage
Since 1914 the Ksar Ezzit family has preserved this olive land like a living archive. The old stone mill, the historic press and Lassad's knowledge tell of a craft in which quality begins long before the harvest.
Today 75,000 olive trees grow on 440 hectares in a 100% organically managed habitat – together with people, animals, wild plants and the invisible helpers of healthy soil.
ANISO & LASSAD
Two perspectives. One shared love for the olive tree – and the decision to lead Ksar Ezzit into the future with respect.
The vision
of Kraft Olive.
ANISO rethinks the olive without losing its origin. The brand stands for courage, clarity and uncompromising quality communication – so that people worldwide do not see just any oil, but recognise Ksar Ezzit, its trees and its conviction.
On 27 March 2026, ANISO and Lassad met for the first time. Lassad spoke about patience, soil and responsibility for every tree. ANISO spoke about visibility, future and the power of an honest brand. This conversation became a shared path.
ANISO & Lassad · Back to NatureThe soul
of the estate.
Lassad knows the rhythm of the land: when the soil needs rest, when a tree needs help and when an olive is ready. His experience gives ANISO Kraft Olive depth – and Ksar Ezzit a human voice.
